With producer Bill Niven in 2009. Bill is a veteran of the Canadian film and television industry from whom I have learned a great deal over the past thirteen years. His work includes time as a senior executive with Telefilm Canada and Salter Street Films, after which he embarked on a successful career as an independent producer, with credits ranging from the feature films Marion Bridge, Heartbeat, Bunker 6, There Are Monsters and Rollertown to the recent epic mini-series Book of Negroes. He is a consummate professional, and it has always been a pleasure working with him.
On location during production of the short film Game, with executive producer Stephen MacLean. “Game” was written and directed by the very talented Josh MacDonald (it was his first directing credit), and was selected for myriad festivals and won a number of awards, including Best Horror Short at both the 2012 Rio Grind Film Festival in Vancouver and the 2012 Buried Alive Short Film Festival in Atlanta.
